Having issue with Code loading into Code and Description after upgrade to 12.2.4
Issue that happened during last upgrade as well.
Cannot update the data through SQL because the data in the SYNTAX column is greater than 4000 characters.
Need a fix to get the EP_MODEL_SYNTAX table updated so that the data load will load the correct values.
One of the affected records has table_name = 't_ep_p2a1'
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
a. Perform an Application and Platform Upgrade from 18.104.22.168 to 12.2.4.
b. Load data using the EP_LOAD_MAIN procedure.
c. See that some records in the table EP_MODEL_SYNTAX now have the code being put into the code and description fields when executing the SYNTAX.
d. Records that appear to be affected can be retrieved as follows:
select * from ep_model_syntax
where table_name in ('t_ep_p2a1'
c. Check the SYNTAX column. Will use t_ep_p2a1 as an example. The fourth line of the SYNTAX is
when it should be
Notice how it is using t_src_item_tmpl.t_ep_p2a1 when it should be using t_src_item_tmpl.t_ep_p2a1_desc in the SELECT statement.
