CTA Generates TAs with Invalid ServiceId in Output Parameters
(Doc ID 2382915.1)
Last updated on APRIL 03, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Unified Inventory Management - Version 7.3.4.0.0 to 7.3.4.0.0 [Release 7.3.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
Customer has designed 3 CFS, namely:
1. Broadband_Internet_CFS, to which FTTH_RFS is assigned.
2. VoIP_Telephony_RFS, which refers FTTH_RFS
3. IPTV_RFS, which refers FTTH_RFS.
There are cases where parent of FTTH_RFS seems to be VoIP_Telephony_RFS (in 2play) or IPTV_RFS in 3play orders instead of Broadband_Internet_CFS.
As a result, output parameters of Technical Actions related to FTTH_RFS have relative update path for Broadband_Internet_CFS (as delivered in the TA metadata file) while service id depicts the RFSs that reference the FTTH_RFS.
This is causing the orders to fail.
Resource is assigned under one service and referenced under another service. The parameters of this resource are bounded to technical action parameters for a generic technical action.
The relative path (with respect to the parent) of OUT parameters is always created by considering it as ASSIGNMENT. GetConfigurationDifferences can return parent as a service to which it is assigned or a service under which is referenced arbitrarily.
