Preview LDAP Users in Java Client Shows Error java.lang.NullPointerException (Doc ID 2384269.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to preview users in the Java Client the following error occurs in Java Console.

Steps

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Log into Java Client as admin user
2. Go to Admin tab| Server settings| LDAP - LDAP Configuration Editor
3. Click Preview
