Information in this document applies to any platform.

In Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C) version 6.0.1, a control plan is a service-logic flowchart that defines how to perform service-logic, based on factors such as the type of service, geographic location, time of day, and so on. A control plan consists of a collection of connected feature nodes. A feature node is a functional

component that defines a particular decision point or action that occurs in the service-logic.

The Data Access Pack (DAP) is an extension module for Advanced Control Services (ACS) which allows control plans to make asynchronous requests to external systems over various protocols including eXtensible Markup Language(XML) and Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP).

The Data Access Pack (DAP) Request feature node allows Advanced Control Services (ACS) to select, configure and then send DAP requests to a DAP interface for forwarding to an external Application Service Provider (ASP).

An issue was observed with the DAP Request node where only Greenwich Mean Time time zone (GMT) time format is sent, local machine time does not work.
