(Doc ID 2387526.1)

Last updated on APRIL 19, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Agile Engineering Data Management - Version 6.1.2.2 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a MOAR-environment, when the configuration parameter EDB-PDW-CHK-OBJ-ACC-ENT-2=no, it is impossible to delete the corresponding entity (projects at GF), even if you are system user.

The setting EDB-PDW-CHK-OBJ-ACC-ENT-2=no is being used to allow additional organizations (I_STATUS=1) writing access to the projects.

ERROR
-----------------------
 [8:37 AM] Entry "MZ_TEST_3--n" is related to 2 records in "STR" !
where "MZ_TEST_3--n" is the entity name. These 2 records are those which are somehow not ignored anymore by mistake by Owner-Org in T_PRO_ORG (I_STATUS=2) (see SQL-Trace)

CONFIGURATION
===========
EDB-PDW-ENT-2=EDB-PROJECT
EDB-PDW-CHK-OBJ-ACC-ENT-2=yes

RESEARCH/FINDINGS
----------------------------------

The last check in SQL trace (Case A - SQL21381.trc) is:
SELECT COUNT(*) FROM T_PRO_ORG WHERE C_ID_1 = 1666916970 /* :V0 */ AND
C_ID > 0 /* :V1 */
;
This query on the database results in the following two records:

C_ID C_VERSION C_LOCK C_UIC C_GIC C_CRE_DAT C_UPD_DAT C_ACC_OGW C_ID_1 C_ID_2 C_DATE EDB_MEMO_ENG EDB_MEMO_GER EDB_MEMO_FRA I_STATUS I_AKTIV NTM_REF

These are the records related to the organisation owner of the project to delete, that should be ignored during the deletion but they always exists.
