Completed Shift Already Exists Error When Login To The Shift Which Overlaps With The Completed Shift

Completed shift already exists error when login to the shift which overlaps with the completed shift
We have migrated from MWM 2.2 to MWM 188.8.131.52.When we tried to login to a shift which overlaps with the yesterdays completed shift we are getting error message saying "A later started / completed shift already exists for the crew (xxxxx/xxxxx)". This validation is not there v2.2 and is added as part of upgrade (v2.3).
The work around for this issue is dispatcher/planner needs to modify the shift planned start/date to the date/time after the completion date/time of yesterdays shift. This is an overhead to them as it takes significant time of their work. Could please let us know let us know the ways to login to the shift with out manually editing the shift.
