Symptoms

Values entered into TXTF_EMERG_SW_ORDER in EVENT_DETAILS is too large

A user is trying to update an event that had 5 switching sheets ran against it. When the user tries to update the event, it gives an error.

A jbot_report shows the values in the DS_EVENT_DETAILS of ",,EMERG_SW_ORDER_TEXT,,java.lang.String,Emer 15036,Emer 15038,Emer 15040,Emer 15037,Emer 15039",
but the PICKLIST_INFO_UP_TR table has nothing saved in the EMERG_SW_ORDER_TEXT field

04/17/18 13:01:15: JMService 0x7fde99a86700,ctp=0x57a156b8,"JMService::updateEventData" *ERROR* - sql failed:
  result=-1 error='ORA-12899: value too large for column "NMS"."PICKLIST_INFO_UPD_TR"."EMERG_SW_ORDER_TEXT" (actual: 54, maximum: 32)
