Orphaned Records in MSC Tables : MSC_EXCEPTION_DETAILS ,MSC_ITEM_EXCEPTIONS and MSC_SUPPLIES (Doc ID 2391491.1)

Symptoms

It can be seen that there are Orphaned Records in MSC Tables : MSC_EXCEPTION_DETAILS ,MSC_ITEM_EXCEPTIONS and MSC_SUPPLIES as given below:

While running the following queries:

1) select count(*) from APPS.MSC_EXCEPTION_DETAILS where plan_id not in (select distinct plan_id from apps.msc_plans);

2) select count(*) from APPS.MSC_ITEM_EXCEPTIONS where plan_id not in (select distinct plan_id from apps.msc_plans);

3) select count(*) from APPS.MSC_SUPPLIES where plan_id not in (select distinct plan_id from apps.msc_plans);

The user sees that there are records in the above mentioned tables with a plan id which does not seem to be present in msc_plans.

Need to know whether these records from the above mentioned tables can be cleared and the procedure for the same
