Exchange Rate Is Not Populated For Franchise Order (Doc ID 2391959.1)

Symptoms

When franchise order is created (with the currency different than base currency) in Retail Merchandising System (RMS), approved and saved, exchange rate is not populated.

Value for WF_ORDER_HEAD. EXCHANGE_RATE = 'null'.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
A. Exchange Rate not populated

  1. Create franchise order in RMS with foreign currency (not base currency of the system)
  2. Approve the order.
  3. Save and close.
  4. Check value for WF_ORDER_HEAD.EXCHANGE.RATE. The value is null.


B. Exchange Rate is populated

  1. Create franchise order in RMS with foreign currency (not base currency of the system)
  2. Save and close the order in input status.
  3. Search the created order and approved.
  4. Save and close.
  5. Check value for WF_ORDER_HEAD.EXCHANGE.RATE. The exchange rate is populated.
