Cannot Stop RIB Adapters Using Rib-Adapter-Controller.sh Script in SSL Environment

Symptoms
When the RIB is installed in a Secured Socket Layer (SSL) environment, you cannot stop RIB adapters using the rib-adapter-controller.sh script, which is provided as part of the RIB installation.
./rib-adapter-controller.sh stop rib-app-adapters-by-type all rib-rms
Below error is seen:
