Failed to Login to Unifier App With Error "A Server With The Specified Hostname Cannot Be Found" in Android

On : Unifier 17.12.1 version, Unifier Mobile / iOS App

When using the Unifier App to try to connect to the client's system, the Android version of the App will prompt the error below.


A server with the specified hostname cannot be found

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Launch the Unifier mobile App in Android
  2. Try to connect https://hostname:port
  3. Attempt will Fail with the error above

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot access Unifier successfully from Android.
