XPLM Connector Allows Check Out Of A Design Object That Is Not The Latest Version

(Doc ID 2397267.1)

Last updated on MAY 10, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Agile PLM MCAD Connector - Version 3.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Current behavior:

If a user does not have the latest version of a Design Object in their Agile Workspace or loaded in their current Creo working session, they can still Check Out the Design Object and check it back in. This overwrites the latest version of the Design Object with a previous version.

If another user checks out, modifies, and checks back in a Design Object that is loaded in a Designers current Creo session or Agile Workspace, there is no warning to the Designer that there is a later Version of the Design Object when they go to modify. The Design can Check Out the old version of the files, perform changes on the old design, and check it back in, essentially overwriting the work done by the other user.

The user does not get a notification they do not have the latest version in their Agile workspace or Creo working session.

Expected behavior:

Get a warning message that user did not check out latest version of Design object
