FAQ: Integrate BIP with RMS 16 without "Guest Access" (Doc ID 2397292.1)

Last updated on MAY 18, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Purpose

Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) for use with RMS version 16 needs a Guest folder to allow Guest access. However, RMS does not support when BIP shares a catalog or the same domain with Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (BIEE). As a result, the "Guest Access" checkbox is greyed-out and not available to check Operational reporting for the RMS.
