Pending Redo Activities Are Being Deleted From AsActivity Table (Doc ID 2397343.1)

Symptoms

On : 11.0.2.12 version, General

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Pending Redo Activities are being deleted on OIPA.AsActivity table. They are not being deleted from some of the child tables. Rather than deleting the record, please keep as a different status.
 

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
It is widely assumed that no deletes occur on the AsActivity tables. Please change the type code of the activity to Deleted rather than physically delete it.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. This can be recreated by reversing a spawned activity such that the activity is in a Pending Redo status. Then when the parent to that spawned child activity is reversed, the child activity is deleted from OIPA.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
The assumption was that no records were deleted from AsActivity. However some records are being deleted from the source database. The records are not deleted from the target database.
