Importing Microsoft Project (MSP) 2016 XML File To P6 Fails With Error "The value 'XXX' of element 'XXXXX' is not valid." (Doc ID 2397640.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to Import an XML file Exported from MSP 2016 to P6 Professional, the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
SEVERE: cvc-maxInclusive-valid: Value 'NaN' is not facet-valid with respect to maxInclusive '9.99999999999999E12' for type '#AnonType_PricePerUnitResourceRateType'.
SEVERE: cvc-type.3.1.3: The value 'NaN' of element 'PricePerUnit' is not valid.
SEVERE: cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1: '' is not a valid value for 'double'.
SEVERE: cvc-type.3.1.3: The value '' of element 'PlannedUnitsPerTime' is not valid.
SEVERE: cvc-datatype-valid.1.2.1: '' is not a valid value for 'double'.
SEVERE: cvc-type.3.1.3: The value '' of element 'RemainingUnitsPerTime' is not valid.

SEVERE: cvc-maxLength-valid: Value '(1) 1" at multiple locations from ground ring outside footing to gensets, switchboards, structural steel location. - (cost)' with length = '123' is not facet-valid with respect to maxLength '120' for type '#AnonType_ExpenseItemActivityExpenseType'.
SEVERE: cvc-type.3.1.3: The value '(1) 1" at multiple locations from ground ring outside footing to gensets, switchboards, structural steel location. - (cost)' of element 'ExpenseItem' is not valid.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Export a Project from MSP 2016 to an XML file.
2. Import this XML to P6 Professional.
3. The Import procedure launches, but fails due to above error.
