EVENT CODE: PRMDB-0626-7 When Trying to Delete Projects in P6 Professional or P6 Web (Doc ID 2399174.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to delete projects in P6 Professional or P6 Web, the following error occurs:

TYPE: EprmDBSQLExecutionFailure
EVENT CODE: PRMDB-0626-7
DESCRIPTION: PRM DBAccess Error: SQL State: 1, SQL Error Code: 3621, Level: 0, Procedure: , Line: 1
The statement has been terminated.
SQL State: 1, SQL Error Code: 547, Level: 16, Procedure: , Line: 1
The DELETE statement conflicted with the REFERENCE constraint "fk_proj_project_etl_list". The conflict occurred in database "PMDB", table "dbo.PROJECT_ETL_LIST", column 'proj_id'.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will using the following steps:

For P6 Professional:

        1. Login to P6 Professional.
        2. Open a project.
        3. Attempt to delete that project.
        4. Observe the reported error.

For P6 Web:

  1. Login to P6 EPPM.
  2. Click on Projects tab and expand the EPS node.
  3. Click on the wheel icon next to a project and select Delete.
  4. Observe the reported error.
