Symptoms

On : 16.1.6.0 version, Business Objects

When attempting to update existing UDF values to null, one of the following errors may occur:

ERROR
-----------------------

Field StartDate may not be set to null.

Field FinishDate may not be set to null.

Field Text may not be set to null.

Field Cost may not be set to null.

Field Number may not be set to null.

Field Integer may not be set to null.

Field Indicator may not be set to null.


BUSINESS IMPACT

The issue has the following business impact: Due to this issue, users cannot update UDF values to be null.
