Defined different billing offsets for the same product based on ACCOUNT_T.AAC_PACKAGE and configured a product with RPS using the ACCOUNT_T.AAC_PACKAGE, here the RPS entries are as below:
If AAC_PACKAGE = 1, Mapped to a rate plan which contains the billing offset as 1
If AAC_PACKAGE = 10, Mapped to a rate plan which contains the billing offset as 10
If AAC_PACKAGE = 20, Mapped to a rate plan which contains the billing offset as 20
When user purchase the product for an account having AAC_PACKAGE as 20, it is using the billing offset 10 which is from a different rate plan.
So, when the product is purchased on Feb 1st, It is creating events with cycles Feb 1st to March 1st and March 1st to March 2nd or March 11th (wrongly selected billing offset as 1 or 10 selected].
It should create events with cycles Feb 1st to March 1st and March 1st to March 2nd or March 20th
NOTE: The behavior is correct during billing. It is aligning the cycles properly from the next cycle onwards.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create RPS plan product like above and set "Set Charge cycle fee "x" days in advance of billing cycle" in plan Details of product.
2. Create deal for the product
3. Create account
4. Purchase the above deal
