Symptoms

When attempting to export reporting data for Front Door Requests and Demand Requests, the following error occurs.

ERROR

Export Data To Reporting Data Model Failed

In the log file:

USER MISTAKE TRACE:
Exception thrown during callout invocation of public static void instantis.callout.REP.createTable(java.lang.String,instantis.callout.SWHash) throws java.lang.Exception: java.lang.Exception: Bad table name [0name] passed to REP in expression [REP.createTable(entity, md)] in function /adminconfig/dataupload/reporting/functionsrvr/createSchemaForSelectedEntities in expression [invoke("adminconfig/dataupload/reporting/functionsrvr/createSchemaForSelectedEntities",selected_entities_mv)]

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Navigate to Administration>Data Import & Export>Manage Reporting Data Model
  2. Select Front Door Requests or Demand Requests
  3. Attempt to export
  4. Error occurs

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot report on Front Door Requests or Demand Requests using BI Publisher.
