Document Manager 'Search by Content' Does Not Provide the Expected Results (Doc ID 2402847.1)

Documents containing the specified search string are not displayed in the "Search by Content" results.
Example: In the Document Manger the string "Number" has been saved in a document, but no result is returned by the "Search by Content" process.


the Content search should return any document where the specified string is found.


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Unifier.
  2. Open a shell with Document Manager.
  3. Under Documents, upload a document with the string "Number" stored in it.
  4. Search by Content for the string "Number".
  5. No result is returned.
