Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

Loader utility provided by OFSAA is used to load data into the LEDGER_STAT table.  Year to Date (YTD) columns are populated on the basis of Aggregation Method defined as attributes for each Financial Element (FE) ID.

Currently storing Balance Sheet Balances against FE 140 and 142, Aggregation Methods defined against these FE ids are set to ‘Average by Days Weighted’.  However, Balance Sheet balances should logically have Aggregation Method defined as ‘Last’.

Please clarify below:

Question 1: Is it advisable to change the Aggregation Method for these seeded Financial Element to 'Last'?

Question 2: Is there any other way to address this, considering the requirement to not change the FEs to 100 or any new customized FE, as it will have impact on various other fronts?
