Direct SQL for Incremental Deployments - Slower Than Direct SQL For Full Deployment

We've switched to Direct SQL deployments. The Direct SQL mode is faster for full deployment, but we experienced that small incremental deployments are slower.

Here is a test case for incremental deploying of single asset:
1. Create an incremental project that changes an only single property on single asset element.
- change property displayName on single Category: Product Family asset.

2. Deploy project in Direct SQL mode.

The first deployment on local database took 13 minutes, the same with regular deployment mode only 2.5 minutes

We would like to know how the direct SQL mode is marking tables to deploy, and how to speed up Direct SQL incremental deployments for our Product Catalog.
