The LDAP Password Is Not Encrypted in the 'skire.properties' File Even Though 'Enable Password Encryption' Is Selected (Doc ID 2408807.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

The ldap.authorized.user.password value is not encrypted in the skire.properties file even though the Enable Password Encryption checkbox is selected.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

The ldap.authorized.user.password value should be encrypted.

 

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open the Configurator.
  2. Select the Enable Password Encryption checkbox on the Advanced tab.
  3. Save the change.
  4. Note the reported behavior.
