Enhancement Requests: Is That Possible To Encrypt LDAP Password In The Properties File In Unifier (Doc ID 2408807.1)

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
ldap.authorized.user.password does not encrypt in skire.properties file when Enable Password Encryption checkbox is selected.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
ldap.authorized.user.password should be encrypted in skire.properties file when Enable Password Encryption checkbox is selected.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Open Configurator
  2. Select Enable Password Encryption checkbox on Advanced tab
  3. Save the change
  4. Notice ldap.authorized.user.password does not encrypt in skire.properties


BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot encrypt ldap.authorized.user.password password.
