DIVArchive: Destination With -rest_ignoring Option Is Not Working With Transcode
(Doc ID 2408989.1)

Information in this document applies to any platform.
There is a destination "DIVAdirector" which has the option -rest_ignoring <.*\.pd><.*\.vix> set. When it restore files to vantage folder (in folder) it restores the .pd and .vix files also. And it restores them first, so the transcoder tries to encode those files and it crashes. When making a restore manually and put in option field "-rest_ignoring <.*\.pd><.*\.vix>" it works as those files aren't restored (sent to transcoder).
On local vantage transcoders the Vantage 6.3 version is used and on farm installation vantage 7.1 version is used. When using local transcoder the transcoding process finishes even the .pd and .vox files are sent also to "in" folder.
With the option -rest_ignoring <.*\.pd><.*\.vix> is set the .pd and .vix files should not be restored
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. try a restore job through automation in a source/destination with -rest_ignoring <.*\.pd><.*\.vix>" (with the file type prefix)
2. see the restored .pd and .vix files also in the vantage folder
