How to Resolve "Application blocked by java security" When Launching SIM Client? (Doc ID 2409120.1)

Following a Java upgrade, Store Inventory Management (SIM) application users may see, the launch aborting with a Java error message that says "Application blocked by java security". This note provides information on how to resolve the issue.
