Information in this document applies to any platform.
On all versions of Oracle Communications Network Charging and Control (OCNCC or NCC) and Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (OC3C or 3C) up to 18.104.22.168 (exclusive), voucher information between the Voucher Wallet Servers (VWS') and the Service Management Server (SMS) is maintained by the Archive Voucher Delete (AVD) subsystem.
The respective processes on the SMS (CCSVCHRPART_maintenance.sh) and VWS (ccsBeAvd) are started by a cron job entry and when run, delete voucher information which have exceeded the configured retention policy.
Due to the timing differences for when the cron jobs are scheduled, some strange voucher behavior can exhibit itself, for example:
1. When searching for a voucher in the SMS Screens, it is possible for a partial subset of information to be returned if the voucher has already been removed from the SMS. For example:
2. When generating new vouchers, a voucher number may be generated which still exists on the VWS.
