Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Data Dictionary

Actual Behavior
OIPA Rules Palette Data Dictionary - When configuror adds new fields to Data Dictionary at check-in, the displayed results do not refresh correctly for all data types.

With Data Dictionary enforcement turned on Configuror tries to check in rule with new field and gets dialog box to add.
Configuror adds field to Data Dictionary as data type "String" and saves there.
However Data Dictionary confirmation shows new field as data type “Numeric” (which was the default/initialized value).
A search of Data Dictionary from the main menu confirms the new field was actually saved with correct/intended Data Type of “String”.

Expected Behavior
List of Fields subject to Data Dictionary enforcement generated at rule check-in should display correct data type values.

Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Add field using Data Dictionary - Type "String".
2. Review confirmation page which shows the new field as type "Numberic"

Business Impact
The issue has the following business impact:
Display of incorrect Data Type values will cause confusion and potentially wasted effort/time when configuration is being checked in with new Fields/MathVariables.
