Custom Collection Properties With Component-item-type As Elements Not Displaying In BCC SiteAdminUI (Doc ID 2415513.1)

Last updated on JUNE 26, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 11.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On :  11.3 version, Content Administration (BCC, Deployment, Versioning, Projects, Workflows)

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
custom collection properties in the SiteConfiguration item with the data-type as set and elements being component-item-types pointing to other items in the repository. These properties are not displayed in the SiteAdmin UI.

When we change the component-item-type to component-data-type="string" then the property is displayed but no values are shown. If we change to data-type="list" then the property is getting displayed.

Similar properties are displaying properly in the Merchandising UI. Need the  same behavior in the SiteAdmin UI too.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Merchandising UI suppose to display according to the site Configuration.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Goto Site Repository XML file
Change the data type to Set from list and remove multi-column name
Open BCC and check the fields under the name Crs_billing, the valus will be blank
Chagrining the Component-Item -type the whole property is not seen in BCC,
This is not the case with 10.2 version Earlier.
