Symptoms

Instantis EnterpriseTrack 17.3.2.0 version

Upon attempts to import a full copy of the environment in order to investigate the issue by Oracle Support the file cannot Import due to the Error
ViewDebugLog file shows the same error:

Engine lookupmaster: Error importing data: Encountered error 'The value of the field 'value' is empty string. The field 'value' is part of a database key and empty string is not allowed as a key value.' while importing record number: ###. Finished importing 0 records. Please fix record 816, and resubmit all records beginning with record number 1.

STEPS to Verify

  1. Access SiteWand to an empty account
  2. Navigate to XMLImport
  3. Select Browse, and navigate to saved swi file, select file, Click Import
  4. The import process begins and almost finishes, but results in the Import Error on the screen
