Oracle Communications Messaging Server - Version 8.0.2 to 8.0.2 [Release 8.0.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Q1. Should the Oracle MTA be accepting messages with RCPT TO: ""@sms.euro.abc.com?
Q2. Why does it get routed differently?
On host #2, we have these rewrite rules:
role.rewrite.rule = .abc.com $F$E$U@$H$D@postino.abc.com@tcp_abc-daemon
role.rewrite.rule = .&/IMTA_DEFAULTDOMAIN/ $E$F$U@$H$D@postino.abc.com@tcp_abc-daemon
A recipient like xxx@sms.euro.abc.com gets routed as:
and they both say 'New route: "postino.abc.com".' But the result does not include this for the ""@sms.euro.abc.com case.
