Primavera Portfolio Management - Version 16.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When entering in text that contains multiple paragraphs, the end user will insert spaces between the paragraphs to separate topics. In Chrome, the spaces are normal and listed as the customer inserts them; in IE11, the spaces disappear between paragraphs in the Forms text box area.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Regardless of the browser in use, the formatting of multiple paragraphs or text should appear the same in the OPPM application Forms.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to OPPM using Google Chrome
  2. Create multiple paragraphs in a textbox in a form
  3. Add spaces between the paragraphs
  4. Save and close
  5. Login to OPPM using IE 11
  6. Open the same form from Chrome
  7. Review the text and notice that the spaces inserted have been removed
