PCM_OP_AR_RESOURCE_AGGREGATION Returns Incorrect Aggregated Amount For Fully Adjusted Event (Doc ID 2420642.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 24, 2021

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version to [Release 7.4.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, Core Billing

The issue occurs when PCM_OP_AR_RESOURCE_AGGREGATION is used to get aggregated amounts for a "/event/billing/product/fee/purchase" having balance impact with tax and this event has been adjusted fully.
It returns the tax amount in PIN_FLD_ALLOCATED field. This event has been fully adjusted and the opcode still returns the tax amount as available for allocation and thus causing issues.

Steps to reproduce:

1) Create an account with purchase fee. The purchase event should have tax balance impact along with normal balance impact.
2) Adjust this purchase event fully (with tax).
3) Invoke PCM_OP_AR_RESOURCE_AGGREGATION opcode and check the PIN_FLD_ALLOCATED filed value in the output.

Expected result: The PIN_FLD_ALLOCATED should show the unallocated amount. Here in the above case, it should return 0 as the event was fully adjusted.

Actual result: The output of the opcode returns the tax amount of the event in PIN_FLD_ALLOCATED.
