Android Device Calendars Do Not Sync with the Convergence Calendar for the Same User

It was noticed that the Android client calendars do not sync with the Convergence calendar for the same user. The problem appears all the time for the deletion, often on the modification and sometimes on the creation of an event. For example, if an event is deleted in Convergence, the event still shows up on the Android client calendar and does not get deleted. Globally after a while, the Android is out of sync with the Convergence calendar.
This issue can be reproduced using the below steps:
- a) add account > Microsoft exchange activesync
- b) add account > Exchange “Gmail pictogram”
This issue can be reproduced by using the built-in calendar application (Samsung Splanner) and also by using the Google calendar application.
From user_A telemetry:
User_B creates an account and invites user_A:
On the iPhone of user_A, the event that was deleted by the inviter (user) appears with strike through font, which when clicked on, can be seen that it is a cancelled event.
On Android, no matter what type of exchange account or calendar used (Samsung Splanner, or Google calendar), the event is still present in the calendar.
It is expected that the events should sync and be consistent between the two platforms.
