Information in this document applies to any platform.

Oracle Financial Services Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP)

Symptoms

On FTP 8.0.4 the All in TP Rate Calculation defined for a product node is not being updated as expected. The ofstp debug log shows the expected update:

Module Logging OFS Access module data: update
update FSI_D_TERM_DEPOSITS a
set ALL_IN_TP_RATE = :ALL_IN_TP_RATE, MATCHED_SPREAD_C =
:MATCHED_SPREAD_C, TRANSFER_RATE = :TRANSFER_RATE,
charge_credit_trate = :charge_credit_trate,
liquidity_premium_rate = :liquidity_premium_rate,
liquidity_prem_charge_credit = :liquidity_prem_charge_credit,
tp_average_life = :tp_average_life, tp_duration = :tp_duration
where a.rowid = :0

However after process completes successfully, the ALL_IN_TP_RATE remains = 0.

On checking the FSI_PROCESS_ERRORS for the batch, the following error is noticed:

ERROR

No All-In TP Rule has been defined.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Created an FTP Process on TD Instrument and we have defined process to calculate All in TP rate.
2. Set the summation logic for base transfer rate and liquidity premium rate in the All in TP rate definition screen.
