Item Location Status Updates are Not Integrated From RMS to AIP
(Doc ID 2422878.1)
Last updated on MARCH 13, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
In an RMS-AIP integrated environment, Purchase Orders(PO) and Transfers are created in AIP and integrated into RMS.
When a user sets up a Scheduled Item Maintenance to change the status from 'A' to 'I'(Inactive) or 'D' (Discontinue), this information is not sent to AIP.
Therefore AIP will continue to create PO and Transfers and send them to be integrated in RMS. The integration of these will fail due to Item Location status.
It is expected that after executing the SITMAIN (Scheduled Item Maintenance) batch, relevant data should be sent to AIP regarding status to prevent the creation of Purchase Orders and Transfers.
