Goal

Request to separate the NMS adapters for meter ping and ADMS.

Would like to propose a change to have a separate adapter server setup in weblogic for the ADMS interface and another one for the Meter Ping/Power Up interface. During a storm and with heavy traffic going through the same multispeak adapter you may encounter issues due to volume.

This would also be good in case one interface needs to be stopped, you can still use the other one if it had it's own server setup.

Note these parameters allow you to separate the adapter so you can have separate deployments for each interface if more than one is enabled.  For these interfaces to be enabled they need to be configured in CES_PARAMETERS. By default everything should be disabled. In OPAL (OPAL_amr.sql and OPAL_scada.sql) everything is enabled.

You can enabled all the parts you want in CES_PARAMETERS and then disable individual parts on server-by-server basis.
Or you can disable everything in CES_PARAMETERS and then enable desired parts individually on each server.
