Consider "ride" example to run a script:

As shown in the "ride" usage and in the Administration guide, the optional parameter -message provides an override message that is presented to the user who is trying to perform an operation blocked by an intra-day batch process. A default message is provided to the user if this argument is not provided.

However, both the default exception and the custom message {MessageToUser} are shown to the user.
