Interest Cashflow (FE 430) New Business For Dynamic Process in 8.0.4 is Double Than ALM 5.6 Calculated Output (Doc ID 2424028.1)

Last updated on MARCH 28, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management - Version 8.0.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA)
Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM)

On ALM, the new business (result_type_cd = 1) Interest cash flow (FE 430) for a dynamic process is double than what is generated in 5.6.

When comparing the results of interest cash flow for a dynamic process with target growth = 0% , the FE = 430 value in 8.0.4 is almost more than twice the generated values in 5.6.
Have also observed that in 8.0.4 version, fsi_o_process_cashflows , the cash_flow_dates are more than the actual defined buckets in maturity mix.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Upgrade from 5.6 to 8.0.4
2. Run Dynamic ALM Process and check new business results against 5.6 results.
