Modified UOM Values Do Not Get Reflected on the Dimensions of Item Supplier Countries (Doc ID 2427389.1)

Symptoms

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.

This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

 



Actual Behavior
---------------
Find that after changing the dimension Unit of Measure (UOM) to (Meter) M or (Millimeter) MM from a previously defined UOM (say CM), the Volume List of Values (LOV) does not change to the corresponding cubic dimension, M3 or MM3.

Expected Behavior
-----------------------
In case of M or MM, the Volume LOV should default to its corresponding cubic dimension.

Steps to Reproduce
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create item
2. Add supplier.
3. Add supplier country.
4. Add dimensions in CM.
4a. The volume will be calculated in CM3
5. Change UOM to M or MM
5a. Notice that Volume is still the same.
