Last updated on FEBRUARY 22, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 16.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

When reconciling a shipment either automatically or manually with adjustment type 'RL (Receiving location loss Adjustment)' or 'SL (Sending location loss Adjustment)' the records with tran_code 22 that are written on the TRAN_DATA do not have a reason code associated (column gl_ref_no is null).

Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create, ship and receive a transfer so that there is a discrepancy between shipped and received quantities.
2. Have the system configured to perform either automatic or manual reconciliation.
3. Check the TRAN_DATA records that were written.
4. Records with tran_code 22 do not have a reason code associated to them.
