On Reverting An Workaround
(Doc ID 2428155.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 09, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Health Sciences Data Management Workbench - Version 2.4 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Sometimes, due to the fact that until the release of a Patch can take an extended period of time and the client has some tight deadlines, an workaround is applied, when possible.
Which are the appropriate measures to be taken when the patch is released to allow testing the effectiveness of the patch, if it fixes the bug for which it was intended?
The Application Administrators may be tempted to revert the workaround in order to test the functionality of the patch.
