Error 'java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/oracle/bsp/Database/JDBCConnection' Starting Weblogic for BSP (Doc ID 2436717.1)

Symptoms

For Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP) 8.0.2.1.0, after installing a BSP 8.0.2.x Patch, you cannot start Weblogic for the BSP environment.

After running bsp_webdeploy.sh, the following error occurs in the Planning0.log when starting Weblogic:

       at weblogic.j2ee.dd.xml.J2eeAnnotationProcessor.processJ2eeAnnotations(J2eeAnnotationProcessor.java:37)
       etc.

As a result of this error, you cannot start the BSP environment.
