Goal

Since some of the T2Ts are very slow, there has been attempt to optimize them by running "alter session" commands, before T2Ts start executing.

However, trying to configure a T2T mapping while adding below script (in the Prescript field that is located near the Hint field), that should run before the primary INSERT/SELECT statement starts, resulted in error due to character "_" not being allowed.

Error message displayed:

  [20379] Invalid prescript [20380] Prescript can contain only the below permissible characters [a-z,A-Z,0-9 and special characters(" . "," = "," ; "," - " and Space)]

Mapping could not be saved even after removing the "_" character. Despite not throwing an error, the screen freezes with the hourglass spinning continuously.

Please provide guidance on how to achieve this T2T optimization by running alter session script before T2T execution itself.
