Limiting Object Search Based on Security Group Not Working (Bug 21423870)
Bug 21423870 - Feature - Limiting Object Search Based on Security Group Extension: was forward ported. I do not see bug 21423870 in a 10.2.0.# patch so I cannot say which patch it was included in. After testing in 10.2.0.29 it does not appear to be working. The sample configuration below was send to Nick Newman who verified that it appears to be correct.
AsPolicyField.FieldName = 'CameronCompany' AND AsPolicyField.textValue = 'CHECKED'
Owner First Name
Given the Cameron Company Client flag is set to yes for a Client
When a Colleague without the appropriate security accesses the Cameron Company Client record
Then the following cannot be displayed:
-Any Claim for a Cameron Company Client
- Any Claim of a Dependent of a Cameron Company Client
2. Given the Cameron Company Client flag is set to yes for a Client
When a Colleague without the appropriate security attempts to set-up a claim from the Cameron Company Client record
Then the Colleague is provided with the error "Cameron Company Employee - Claim must be processed by Cameron Co. Life Claims Adjustor"
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. If the user does not have the proper security access, the policy record should not return.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users Cannot go into production without this functionality
