Last updated on MAY 06, 2020

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Actual Behavior
When creating ECO from MCAD, the Lifecycle Phase attribute on Affected Items
tab is not reflecting the Lifecycle Phase value set in SOLIDWORKS Preferences.

For english user, Lifecycle Phase attribute on Affected Items tab is set as
blank. For japanese user, Lifecycle Phase attribute on Affected Items tab is
set to "Preliminary" which should not be set for an ECO which is about to get released.

Expected Behavior
When creating ECO from MCAD, the Lifecycle Phase attribute on Affected Items tab is defaulted to the Lifecycle Phase value set in SOLIDWORKS Preferences.

Step
1. On SOLIDWORKS preferences set item lifecycle phase as "1. Prototype"
2. Create ECO from MCAD
3. Review the ECO affected items tab. The Lifecycle Phase is shown blank on english user. If login from japanese user, The Lifecycle Phase is shown as "Preliminary".
