Goal
During PatchSet20 installation (from PS16) step ./sys/dd/data/drop_column_compact_sub_event.source took more than 3 hours per one database as you can see from below output:
Is there any workaround to reduce the time spent on this particular step?
If the step of column dropping is skipped, can the system operate (e.x. basic processes such as running CM, Pipelines, billing, invoicing, rating, etc.) after the entire installation is finished?
Can the column be dropped even before Patch Set installation?
Will the system operate correctly on PS16 with dropped column?
Will PS20 installation not fail due to already dropped column?
