Information in this document applies to any platform.

In a customer environment, after a full restart of Elastic Charging Engine (ECE), ImportExportPricing with 'publish all' to ECE was performed, but after successful publish also it was seen that some of the metadata and config data are not getting updated in ECE cache properly.

Scenario :

  1. Full restart of ECE. Started ECS1,ECS2,ConfigLoader and then PricingUpdater
  2. Publish of all the data from PDC to ECE with below command :
              ./ImportExportPricing -publish all -target ece
  3. Start of CustomerUpdater
  4. Service Event Map (Ex: CUSTOMInstallment, CUSTOMv, CUSTOMw and CUSTOMThirdpartyCmore) and Metadata(Ex: EventActivityContent, EventSessionTelco, EventSessionTelcoGsm, EventSessionTelcoGprs and some more) were missing in the Cache
  5. Tried loading the "EventActivity" metadata which throws error for "Event" metadata, so user tried loading the "Event" metadata first and then tried the "EventActivity" metadata. But the same warning was thrown in the pricingUpdater log with the internal ID of Event metadata.
