Opening worksheet from (Welcome TAB) hangs the system

We recently deployed our old war file in a new server.
After that we are getting this issue.

1st worksheet opens without issue.when we open next worksheet system hangs.
We dont find any db session as well.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to demantra
2. Open a worksheet
3. Open another worksheet

The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot open more than one worksheet and application hangs
