SOURCE_WH Field is Set to Null After Change in Status Through Mass Change Item Screen in RMS (Doc ID 2442620.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS), when changing the item location status through mass change item screen SOURCE_WH field in ITEM_LOC table is set to null.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Select Item which is Active at store and having Default_wh.
  2. From RMS Start, Select Items > Items.
  3. In Item Search Window, Select ‘Edit’ from Action Drop Down list.
  4. Provide the Item number Selected in step 1, Click 'OK'.
  5. Navigate Location > Mass change Item/Loc.
  6. In Item Location Attributes screen, select the location selection type ‘Region' and Value=XXXX.
  7. Click on Apply.
  8. In Item Location Attributes screen, select the location selection type 'Warehouse' and Value =XXXX.
  9. Click on Apply.
  10. Enable the Item status check box and select status as 'Discontinued'.
  11. Click 'Ok'.Check ITEM_LOC table , SOURCE_WH field is set to NULL.
