Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

When attempting to sort on a right-most column of a Pivot table, the entire result-set is not sorting (ascending or descending) based on all values from the column results. Instead, it is sorting based on data buckets from left-to-right.

When attempting to sort on a right-most column of a Pivot table, the entire result-set should sort (ascending or descending) based on all values from the column results.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to OBIEE
  2. Click Dashboard dropdown and select the required dashboard
  3. Click the ascending or descending item within the column you wish to sort on
  4. Note the actual behavior which occurs instead of the expected behavior.
